L'Islam, révélation divine est une religion monothéiste de vérité spirituelle, de lumière intérieure, d'amour, de fraternité humaine, de justice sociale, ouverte à toutes les races et à tous les peuples sans aucune distinction, aux hommes et aux femmes de toutes les contrées et de tous les siècles, quelque soit le degré de leur savoir et l'importance de leur fortune. Il implique la foi en un Dieu unique et absolu et en la mission de Son envoyé, Mouhammad, (Paix et Bénédiction d'Allah soient sur lui) qu'Il a choisi pour la transmission de son message (Qour'aane).
Ce message universel et permanent de liberté, d'égalité, de fraternité, de charité, de paix, de monothéisme sous la forme la plus pure, exige à priori de l'homme sa soumission inconditionnelle à Dieu et son abandon total à Sa volonté. Tel est d'ailleurs le sens étymologique du mot Islam. Il se résume en peu de mots :
